Meet Dan Falls, Professional Photographer, Artist, Broadcast Engineer

Kathy's passion for photography began in high school with her first camera.  Always an artist she learned how to 'think outside the box' with a paint brush, and the camera helped her to capture those precious moments. "Portrait Photography has always been my first love because portraits are so important to people.  It is like capturing 'time in a bottle' and preserving the memories of those who are most dear.  I create those timeless masterpiece portraits that captivate the viewer and become treasured heirlooms.  I look for the personality and uniquemess of my clients."  Indeed, Kathy is famous for her work, gaining national awards for her photography and art.  She was the first person to obtain all of the certifications from the Professional Photographers of America and has been sought after to lecture on a professional basis.  Twice she was named Artist of the Year for Professional Photographers of Michigan and has won many local and state awards.  Kathy loves being involved in her local community and was President of the Monroe County Fine Arts Council and is the current President of the Hillsdale County arts council.  Falls Studio is located in the heartland of America in the quaint rural  community of Camden, located in Hillsdale County.  Surrounded by Amish farms with rolling hills and dales, her studio occupies a restored red barn nestled among fourteen acres of scenic woods and the St.Joseph River.

Dan Falls began his career in high school. He then attended Specs Howard School of Broadcast in Southfield, Michigan and spent ten years in the broadcast television industry. Dan has won numerous awards in photography including national recognition in the Professional Photographers of America. Dan's passion for photography includes commercial, nature, and landscapes. He also assists in the studio for portrait work.
